Uninstalling an Application Package with Mathematica 4.2, 5.0 or 5.1

1.

Quit Mathematica if it is running.

2.

Locate the application package and drag it to the Trash.

 

For example, to uninstall an application package located in the default installation directory, drag the folder Library/Mathematica/Applications/application to the Trash.

3.

Empty the Trash.

4.

After the application package has been uninstalled, start Mathematica and rebuild the Help Index by choosing Help > Rebuild Help Index.
