Upgrading an Application Package with Mathematica 4.2 or 5.0

Quit Mathematica if it is running. Uninstall the old version of the application package. See Uninstalling Application Packages for more information.

Install the new version of the application package. See Installing Application Packages for more information.

After the application package has been installed, start Mathematica and rebuild the Help Index by choosing Help > Rebuild Help Index.
