Why doesn't ImportData work with the Aptec.txt on Mac Classic?

To import the Aptec.txt file on Mac Classic using ImportData, you will need a copy of the file that has Mac Classic end-of lines. A download is provided here. It is compressed so that the end-of-lines will not change during the download process.

1.

Download Aptec.txt.sit to Mac Classic.

2.

Uncompress Aptec.txt.sit file. A file called Aptec.txt will appear.

3.

Use the new Aptec.txt to replace the file EDA:Data:Aptec.txt in your Experimental Data Analyst installation. You can find the location of you Experimental Data Analyst installation by evaluating the following command in Mathematica.
