How do I install Network CalculationCenter for Macintosh?

To install Network CalculationCenter:

1.

Install MathLM on your chosen server computer from the MathLM CD as described in Network Mathematica System Administrator’s Guide.

2.

Install CalculationCenter on each client computer.

3.

On each client computer create a new plain text file. In each file enter an “!” character followed by the name or IP address of your server, such as !server or !123.456.789.123.

4.

Save this file in a file named mathpass (no extension on the filename) in the following folder within each CalculationCenter installation:

CalculationCenter 2.0:Configuration:Licensing:

5.

Some error messages in the file ErrorMessages.tr for reporting server problems are missing. This file is not required for running CalculationCenter, but will improve error reporting in the event of difficulty. You can download this file from:

http://support.wolfram.com/archive/calculationcenter/files/ErrorMessages.tr

To install the new ErrorMessages.tr file, replace the existing ErrorMessages.tr in each copy of CalculationCenter. The English-language ErrorMessages.tr file can be found in the following directory:

CalculationCenter 2.0:SystemFiles:FrontEnd:TextResources
