Why doesn't my notebook created in Mathematica 4.0 run properly in Mathematica 4.1?

You may experience errors when trying to evaluate notebooks in Mathematica 4.1 that were created in earlier versions of Mathematica. This is because previous versions of Mathematica incorrectly applyied RowBoxes on some input statements. Although this problem has been corrected in Mathematica 4.1, error messages are sometimes returned when trying to evaluate the affected code in Mathematica 4.1.

If you re-entered the previously working code from scratch into Mathematica 4.1, it would evaluate properly. The following notebook is available to help correct affected notebooks. While it can correct many instances of this problem, it does not work in all cases. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this problem.
