How do I decrease the double-click speed of the mouse in the Mathematica X front end?

A general X resource called multiClickTime can be set to determine the mouse double-click time. The default value of multiClickTime is 200. (The value of multiClickTime is in units of milliseconds.)

Edit the file:

~/.Xdefaults

Add the line:

XMathematica*multiClickTime: 300

From the command line, execute the command:

xrdb ~/.Xdefaults

to make the changes take effect.
