Why does Adobe Illustrator generate errors when importing some graphics created with Mathematica?

Our developers are currently tracking some problems in which Adobe Illustrator graphics created with Mathematica cannot be opened in Illustrator. If you have any specific examples, we would like to see them.

As a workaround, you can export to EPS format, which Illustrator can import.

If you are having problems with Illustrator files created by the front end, see the following URL.
