1. Quit Mathematica if it is running.
  2. A new window appears on your screen. Drag the Mathematica 7 icon onto the link to the Applications folder, or to the location on the hard drive where you want it installed. When all files have been copied, double-click the icon on your hard drive to launch the program.

  3. Mathematica starts up and the front end password dialog box appears. Enter your name, organization, and password in the text fields. If your license was shipped to you in a product box, your password is printed on your license certificate. If you downloaded your license from Wolfram Research, your password is provided on the final download page and in your download confirmation email.Click OK when you are done.
  4. A registration dialog box appears. Click the Web button to open your web browser to your customized registration page. Complete the web form to register your license.

    5. This completes the installation, and Mathematica is now ready to use.
