Am I able to write MathLink programs in Visual Basic?

Visual Basic allows you to access any functionality in a DLL (which is where the MathLink functionality is) by appropriately declaring the functions in that DLL. If you have Mathematica 3.0, you can find a sample Visual Basic MathLink program in the following directory inside the Mathematica directory:

Addons\MathLink\DevelopersKits\Windows\UnsupportedGoodies\vbfe32

If you have Mathematica 4.0, you can find it in the directory:

Addons\MathLink\DevelopersKits\Windows\UnsupportedGoodies\vb

This program will work in Visual Basic 4.0 or above.
