当您运行的Mathematica或安装向导要求输入密码时，您就能决定Mathematica要求输入的是哪种类型的密码。

如果Mathematica只要求姓名、机构和密码，那它是非MathID类型的密码。只有Windows和Macintosh的机器会要求非MathID类型密码。

如果Mathematica生成了一个MathID并要求许可证号码、姓名、机构和密码，那么它要求基于单一机器的MathID类型密码。
