Does the Notebook Indexer work on Mac OS X Leopard?

In testing the compatibility of Mathematica with Mac OS X 10.5 (“Leopard”), we have found an issue in the installer that makes it appear as if the installation of the Spotlight Notebook Indexer is prevented. In fact, the indexer files do install correctly and the error message can be safely ignored.

Our development team is working with Apple to resolve this problem. The compatibility of Mathematica with Leopard is not otherwise affected.
