How do I get Exceed to recognize the Mathematica fonts?

The following steps describe one procedure that enables Exceed to recognize and use the Mathematica fonts.

  1. Obtain a copy of the Mathematica fonts in PCF format.

    http://support.wolfram.com/mathematica/systems/unix/interface/pcf.html

  2. Move the resulting PCF directory onto your Windows machine.

  3. Compile the fonts into Exceed format. Please consult the following FAQ from Hummingbird's web site.

    http://www.hummingbird.com/support/nc/exceed/ex6_unixfonts.html

Along with this information, you will also need to turn Font Substitution off.

If you are having any problems compiling the MathFonts in Exceed Version 6.0.2, please read the following FAQ.

    http://support.wolfram.com/mathematica/systems/unix/interface/exceed6.html

If you have any other problems with Exceed, please contact Hummingbird directly.
