Can I run webMathematica with Mathematica 3?

It is necessary that you have Mathematica 4.0 or later in order to run webMathematica applications. Other requirements needed to run webMathematica include:

An installation of the latest release of J/Link, which is available through the following URL.

 

http://www.wolfram.com/solutions/mathlink/jlink/

An HTTP server.

A servlet engine supporting the Servlet API 2.0 or later.

An installation of Java. You must be using Java 1.0 at a minimum, although JDK 1.3 is highly recommended.
