What versions of Tomcat are compatible with webMathematica 2.0?

All versions of Apache Tomcat 4.0 and 4.1 are compatible with webMathematica 2.0. Please note that Tomcat 3.x versions are not compatible, and beta versions of Tomcat 5.0 are not supported at this time.

Currently, we recommend Tomcat 4.1.27 for use with webMathematica 2.0, which can be downloaded from the Apache Jakarta Project site, under the “Tomcat 4.1.27” heading:

http://jakarta.apache.org/site/binindex.cgi

Please note that the OS X Server includes Tomcat 3.2.x, which is not compatible with webMathematica 2.0. It is possible to install and run both Tomcat 3.x and 4.x simultaneously if you wish to host webMathematica 2.0 on a machine runing OS X Server.
