Read this article in: Deutsch, Español, Français, 日本語, 한국어, Português, Русский, 中文

In order to use System Modeler, you need to have a C++ compiler installed, and System Modeler must be able to access it. The supported compilers for Linux are:

  • G++ (recommended)
  • Clang

On Ubuntu and some other Linux distributions, G++ and the necessary tools can be installed by running:

 sudo apt-get install build-essential
  1. Make sure the C++ compiler of your choice is installed.
  2. Start System Modeler. System Modeler will detect the compiler and choose it as the default. You may want to verify that System Modeler succeeded.
  3.

    If the compiler was not detected, please try setting it up manually.
