How do I update the CUDAResources paclet in Wolfram products up to Version 12.1?

Wolfram products up to Version 12.1 require installing a CUDA Resources paclet before using any CUDALink features.

If CUDALink worked for you in a previous version of Mathematica, but no longer seems to work in the current version, you may still have a CUDAResources paclet from an older version in your settings files. To force this paclet to update, follow the steps below:

  1. Evaluate the following: 
    Needs["CUDALink`"];
CUDAResourcesInstall[Update->True]
  2. Close Mathematica.
  3. Restart Mathematica.
