How do I add a Wolfram password to my single sign-on (SSO)–enabled Wolfram ID?
If your organization is providing you access to Wolfram products via single sign-on (SSO) authentication, you will be using your organization’s email address and password to activate Wolfram desktop products or log in to the Wolfram Cloud. Upon your first login via SSO, Wolfram stores this email address as your Wolfram ID, but keeps no record of your associated password.
You will lose access to Wolfram products once your organization’s credentials expire (for example, when you graduate or stop working for the organization) or if your organization discontinues offering you the benefit of using this Wolfram product.
To continue accessing your Wolfram account after your organizational access ends, you will first need to add a password to this Wolfram ID. We highly recommend making this change before you lose access to your organizational email credentials. If you have lost them already, please contact Wolfram Customer Support.
- Go to your Wolfram Account page.
- Sign in using your organization’s credentials.
- Click “Set password”.
- Enter and re-enter your new password. Click “Set password”. Your updated Wolfram Account page appears.
- Verify that your password information is no longer empty.
Now you can access your Wolfram products either by using your original organization’s credentials (“Organization” sign-in method on the login screen) or the same email address together with your new password (“Wolfram ID” sign-in method on the login screen).
