gridMathematica Serverを設定するためには，次が必要です．

• 計算ノード上にgridMathematica Serverをインストールする
• gridMathematica Serverのライセンスをアクティベートする
• gridMathematicaカーネルをテストする

計算ノード上にgridMathematica Serverをインストールする

Linux用のgridMathematica Serverインストーラは，Linuxターミナルで実行されるbashスクリプトです．ターミナルを使い慣れていない方は，how to use the terminalをご参照ください．

1. お使いのマシン上で実行しているWolfram製品をすべて終了してください．
2. ターミナルを開き，インストーラのあるディレクトリに移動します．例えば，インストーラがデスクトップにある場合は，次を実行します．

    cd Desktop 

   これでディレクトリがデスクトップになります．インストーラファイルがデスクトップにあることを確認したい場合は，コマンドlsを使います．

3. インストーラを実行するためには，管理者権限が必要です．コマンドsudoを使って，インストーラスクリプトを実行してください．インストーラの名前が「installer.sh」ならば，以下を実行します．

   sudo bash installer.sh

   sudoは，マシンの管理者パスワードを入力するよう求めます．管理者パスワードを入力すると，インストーラが起動します．

4. アーカイブの整合性を検証し，アーカイブを展開すると，インストーラが開始します．展開が終了すると，インストールするディレクトリを入力するよう指示されます．

   Enter the installation directory, or press ENTER to select
   /usr/local/Wolfram/gridMathematicaServer/14.0:

5. 「Enter」を押すと，gridMathematica Serverはデフォルトのディレクトリにインストールされます．このソフトウェアを異なる場所にインストールするためには，希望のインストールディレクトリの完全ファイルパスをタイプし，「Enter」を押します．

   インストールが終了すると，Lightweight Grid Managerを設定するかどうか尋ねられます．

6. 「y」をタイプして「yes」のオプションを選び，「Enter」を押します．デーモンを実行するユーザアカウントを選ぶよう求められます．

   Mathematica kernels and the Wolfram Lightweight Grid Manager daemon will run as the user you select here.
   
   If you are unsure which settings apply to your situation, check with your system administrator.

7. 「Enter」を押してアカウントを作成します．ユーザアカウントを入力するよう求められます．

   Enter the name of the user account to create, or press ENTER to select (wolframgrid):

8. 「wolframgrid」という名前の新しいユーザアカウントを作成されることをお勧めします．「Enter」を押してアカウント名を確認します．

   wolframgridという新しいユーザアカウントのパスワードを生成するよう求められます．

   Enter a password for the user account "wolframgrid":

9. 選ばれたアカウントのログインパスワードを選びます．求められたらもう一度パスワードを入力します．

   Web Interface Admin Accountとパスワードを作成するよう求められます．

   This password is used to log in as 'admin' to the web interface to perform such actions as killing kernels and changing the configuration.

10. Web Interface Admin Accountのログインパスワードを選びます．求められたら，もう一度パスワードを入力します．

    gridMathematica実行可能スクリプトを置くディレクトリを入力するよう求められます．

    Launch the web interface to install your license:

    Type the directory path in which the gridMathematica Server script(s) will be created, or press ENTER to select /usr/local/bin:

11. 実行可能スクリプトをデフォルトのディレクトリに置く場合は「Enter」を押します．別の場所に置きたい場合は，希望のディレクトリの完全ファイルパスをタイプして「Enter」を押します．

    コンピュータ上にすでにMathematicaがインストールしてある場合は，既存のショートカットを上書きしてもよいかどうかが尋ねられます．

    The scripts 'MathKernel', 'Mathematica', 'WolframKernel', 'math', 
    'mathematica', 'mcc', 'wolfram' already exist in the directory /usr/local/bin. 
    The following actions can be performed on the existing file(s).

      (2) Rename

12. 上書きすると，現在インストールされているスタンドアロンのMathematicaを起動する妨げになる可能性があるので，上書きはお勧めしません．「3」とタイプし「Enter」を押して，このステップをキャンセルしてください．

    WolframScript allows Wolfram Language code to be run from the command line and from self-executing script files. It is always available from /usr/local/Wolfram/gridMathematicaServer/14.0/Executables/wolframscript. 
    
    WolframScript system integration makes the wolframscript binary accessible from any terminal, and allows .wls script files to be executed by double-clicking them in the file manager.
    
    Install WolframScript system integration? [y/n]

13. wolframscriptはコマンドラインから，またはスクリプトを使ってWolfram言語コードを実行するためのオプショナルのアドオンです．wolframscriptをインストールしたい場合は「y」，したくない場合は「n」をタイプし「Enter」を押します．

これでインストールは終了です．
 

gridMathematica Serverのラインセンスをアクティベートする

1. gridMathematica Serverがインストールされているディレクトリに移動します．デフォルトでは以下の場所です．

   cd /usr/local/Wolfram/gridMathematicaServer/14.0/Executables

2. 次のコマンドを使ってgridMathematicaを開きます．

   ./Mathematica

3. gridMathematica Serverをアクティベートします．gridMathematicaをアクティベートすると~/.Mathematica/Licensing/mathpassにmathpassファイルが生成されます．

4. すべてのユーザが，アクティベートされたgridMathematicaカーネルにアクセスできるようにするために，mathpassファイルをいわゆるベースディレクトリに動かします．これはsudo mvコマンドを使って行えます．

   sudo mv ~/.Mathematica/Licensing/mathpass /usr/share/Mathematica/Licensing/.

gridMathematicaカーネルをテストする

1. Webブラウザでlocalhost:3737を開きます．メインのStatusページが現れます．
   

2. 左のパネルは，ローカルネットワーク上で見えるすべてのgridMathematica Server（今インストールしたばかりのものも含む）を表しています．

   「Kernel Settings」 ► 「Services」に進みます．
   

3. 「Open Kernel」リンクをクリックしてカーネルを開きます．警告メッセージが現れます．
   
4. 「OK」をクリックして警告メッセージに同意します．Wolframカーネルが起動し始めます．
5. Wolframカーネルの初期化を待ちます．接続状況が現れます．
   
6. 「kernel state」が「Available」となっていることを確認します．

これでLightweight Grid Managerの設定が完了し，テストも終了しました．
