MathLMはWolfram製品のライセンスを管理します．MathLMのインストーラはお客様のWolframアカウントからダウンロードすることができます．

macOS用のMathLMインストーラは，ターミナルで実行するbashスクリプトです．ターミナルを使い慣れていないという場合は，ターミナルの使い方についての短いガイドをご覧ください．設定は，ダイアログで簡単に行うことができます．以下に記載された指示に従い，ダウンロードしたスクリプトを使ってインストールを行ってください．

ダウンロードしたスクリプトを使ってインストーラを実行する

1. 使用中のマシンで実行中のWolfram製品を終了します．
2. WolframアカウントからMathLM <product> License Managerを選びMathLM_<version>をダウンロードします．
3. ご希望のフォルダ（「ダウンロード」フォルダ等）にファイルを解凍します．
4. M-OSX-LM-<version>.dmgをダブルクリックしてインストーラをマウントします．
5. MathLMをデフォルトの場所にインストールする場合，通常管理者権限が必要です．ターミナルを開いて，コマンドsudoを使ってインストーラスクリプトを実行してください．例えば，インストーラがMathLMInstallerという名前である場合は，以下を実行します．

   sudo bash /Volumes/MathLM/Macintosh/MathLMInstaller

   使用中のマシンにおけるお客様のパスワードを入力するようにsudoが指示してきます．パスワードが入力されると，インストーラが起動します．

   必要な書込み許可のある場所にインストールする場合は，sudoを省略することができます．

6. 管理者パスワードが入力されると，インストーラが起動します．

   後で必要になるため，マシン名とMathIDを書き留めておいてください．

   associate the activation key with your login and receive your
   password.

   To activate and get a password you will need to supply the

     Machine name:  your machine name
     MathID:        XXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX
   
   Enter 'c' to continue or 'e' to exit the installer [c]: 
   

7. 「c」とタイプしてインストールを続行します．Wolframアカウントから取得したアクティベーションキーを入力してください．

   Enter your activation key located on your electronic or printed
   License Certificate. Your activation key is of the form
   XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXX, where the X are digits or letters.
   
   
   Enter your activation key : 1234-5678-123ABC 
   

8. Wolframアカウントのパスワードの生成フォームに，上記のステップで入手したアクティベーションキーとMathIDを入力して，MathLMのパスワードを生成します．「生成」というボタンをクリックして新しいパスワードを生成します．
   
   MathLMのインストーラにMathLMのパスワードを入力しEnterを押して続行します．

   Enter your MathLM password: 2222-222-222:100,100,800,800:800009:20310101:CB

9. 単独のWolfram製品（Mathematica等）でMathLMを使用している場合は「n」とタイプしEnterを押して続行します．

   Enter additional activation key? (y/n)[y]: 

   複数のWolfram製品（MathematicaとSystem Modeler等）でMathLMを利用している場合は，手順7と8を繰り返し，別の製品のアクティベーションキーとパスワードを入力してください．

10. インストーラはインストールするディレクトリを入力するように指示してきます．デフォルトのディレクトリにMathLMをインストールする場合はEnterキーを押します．

    The installer will copy relevant files from the distribution into a linking directory. If you specify a directory that
    already contains files from an older installation of MathLM,
    the installer will update components to the latest available
    version. To install MathLM from scratch, specify a directory
    that does not already exist.
    
    Enter the MathLM directory [/usr/local/Wolfram/MathLM]: 
    		

    別の場所にインストールしたい場合は，希望するインストールディレクトリへの完全なファイルパスをタイプしてからEnterを押してください．

11. ディレクトリが存在しない場合はインストーラが作成します．「y」を押して続行します．

    "/usr/local/Wolfram/MathLM" does not exist. Create? (y/n)[y]: 

12. 次にリンクディレクトリを選びます．デフォルトでよければEnterを押します．

    The installer will copy relevant files from the distribution

13. これでインストールは完了です．

    /usr/local/Wolfram/MathLM

    Installing manpages to "/usr/local/Wolfram/MathLM".

14. ターミナルからMathLMサーバを起動します．

    cd /usr/local/Wolfram/MathLM
    ./mathlm

    注：このコマンドは，MatheLMがデフォルトの場所にインストールされているものと想定しています．別の場所にインストールされている場合は，「/usr/local/Wolfram/MathLM」の代りにインストールされているディレクトリへのパスを使ってください．

15. このネットワークライセンスサーバを使ってMathematicaをアクティベートして，MathLMサーバが実行中であることを確かめます．

    サーバ名は<マシン名>.localを使ってください．ここで<マシン名>は，ステップ6で書き留めたマシン名のことです．
