Wolfram Computation Meets Knowledge

Why is Mathematica asking for permission to access my contacts on macOS Mojave?

When you use a Wolfram desktop application on a machine running macOS 10.14 Mojave, you might get a system dialog asking whether you want to allow the program to access your contacts. Such behavior can be seen in other major applications that are not sandboxed (with the exception of several non-sandboxed apps built by Apple).

Select Don’t Allow. This selection will not affect your normal usage in any Wolfram applications.
