How do I set up a C++ compiler on Mac?

In order to use SystemModeler, Xcode must be installed, and SystemModeler must be able to access it.

  1. Download Xcode from the Mac App Store.
  2. Install Xcode.
  3. Start SystemModeler. SystemModeler will automatically detect Xcode as the default compiler. You may want to verify that SystemModeler succeeded.
    If the compiler was not detected, please try setting it up manually.
