If your site has enabled access to site-licensed Wolfram products using single sign-on (SSO), please see these instructions. Otherwise, as a site administrator, you can grant your site users access to both Wolfram desktop products and Wolfram Cloud subscriptions using the Wolfram User Portal. Such licenses and subscriptions can be assigned to individual users or entire groups.

Desktop Product Licenses

Desktop products can be assigned to your users individually in the same way as Comprehensive Site users.

However, we recommend using the Wolfram Activation Key Request Form in your administrator User Portal, which provides a self-service mechanism for your users to request access to the product themselves:

  1. In your User Portal, go to the My Site Programs tab.
  2. Select the product you want to assign to your users in the My Site Licenses table.
  3. Navigate to the Site Settings ► Site Access tab.
  4. We recommend granting your users access based on their email domain. In this case:

    • Set activation key and password authorization to “Non-Authorized Email = Approved by Site Admin.”
    • Enter the email domain whose users you want to pre-approve into the “Included domains” text field.
    • As appropriate, enter any subdomains into the “Excluded subdomains” text field.

    • Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page. Your changes will take effect immediately.
    • Navigate to the Site Settings ► General Settings tab.

    • Locate the Wolfram Activation Key Request Form section toward the bottom of the page.
    • Communicate the URL in this section to your users. It points to the form through which they can request access to their Wolfram desktop product.

Cloud Subscriptions

Wolfram Cloud products can be explicitly assigned to individual users or groups of users in the same way as Comprehensive Site users.

However, we recommend using the Wolfram Activation Key Request Form in your administrator User Portal, which provides a self-service mechanism for your users to request access to the product themselves:

  1. In your User Portal, go to the My Site Programs tab.

  2. Select the product you want to assign to your users in the My Site Subscriptions table.
  3. Navigate to the Site Settings ► Site Access tab.
  4. We recommend granting your users access based on their email domain. In this case:

    • Set account authorization to “Sometimes.”
    • Enter the email domain whose users you want to pre-approve into the “Included domains” text field.
    • As appropriate, enter any subdomains into the “Excluded subdomains” text field.
    • Click Save Changes. Changes will be implemented immediately.
    • Navigate to the Site Settings ► General Settings tab.

    • Locate the Product Request Form section toward the bottom of the page.
    • Communicate the URL in this section to your users. It points to the form through which they can request access to their Wolfram desktop product.
