You must activate System Modeler before using it. Please make sure that System Modeler is finished installing, then start it to bring up the standard Product Activation screen.

Standard Activation

If your computer is connected to the internet and you are not using a license server, enter the activation key that came with System Modeler, then click Activate. You can also find your activation key in the Wolfram User Portal.

If your organization has enabled access to Wolfram products through single sign-on (SSO), see How do I activate a Wolfram product using single sign-on (SSO)?

If your computer is not connected to the internet, you can still manually activate your copy of System Modeler.

Activating with a License Server

To be able to set up a connection with your MathLM license server, make sure the MathLM installation is the same version or later as your System Modeler and that you know the full server name, including the domain, or the IP address.

  1. In the standard Product Activation screen, click Other ways to activate. The screen for alternative activation options appears.

  2. Click Connect to a Network License Server. The License Server dialog appears. Enter the full name, including the domain, of your MathLM server on your local network.

  3. After entering the name of your license server, click Activate to activate.
