How do I install Mathematica documentation on Windows?

Starting with Version 13 on Windows and macOS, the documentation for Wolfram desktop products is installed separately from the main product.

The documentation installers for Windows and macOS are available in your Wolfram User Portal on the My Products and Services tab.

Standard Download File

  1. Quit any previous installations of Wolfram products that are running on your machine.
  2. Go to your Wolfram product’s download page in the Wolfram User Portal.

  3. Click the link for your operating system in the “Documentation Only” line and “Standard Download” column. This downloads the respective Wolfram Download Manager for your Wolfram product’s documentation to your default downloads folder.
  4. Double-click the exe file to start the documentation’s Download Manager.
  5. Click Next to download your documentation installer to your default downloads folder. Wait for the download to complete.

  6. The Download Manager allows monitoring the progress of the download, as well as pausing it and resuming interrupted or paused downloads. Wait for the download to complete.

  7. Click Launch in the download manager. The documentation will be installed automatically.

  8. The installation is now complete.

Direct File Download

  1. Quit any previous installations of Wolfram products that are running on your machine.
  2. Go to your Wolfram product’s download page in the Wolfram User Portal.
